Supradome examines architecture and an idyllic vision of nature as well as the nostalgia of iconic memories from the 1970s, revealing an attitude that is both melancholic and ironic; superimposing patches of random colour and forms marked through the geometry of architecture, sketching a metaphor for the contextual alienation of the contemporary subject...
Using the image of prismatic constructions and their historical connections with melancholy and geometric idealism, a universe of union and superimposition is constructed between collective memory, the loss of references and conflicts such as those of: nature/culture, rationality/spirituality, chaos/geometry, fiction or reality... The dissolution of representation as an ideological stance intermingles with an ironic intention when mention is finally made of the destruction of architecture as a symbolic space for power and nature as the ultimate frontier.
